Police National Legal Database

A team from the West Yorkshire Police has established a wide-ranging database of legal information of relevance to police officers.

The research project involves the legal audit of the database.

Professor Clive Walker is the principal grant holder, the co-ordinator of the auditing process and the primary researcher.

Since its inception in 1994, the project has become national and managerial control of the PNLD today is held by an ACPO Advisory Board.
