Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages: Annual Conference

Our annual Postgraduate TESOL Student Conference is a vibrant, student-led event. Organised by postgraduate students for postgraduate students, the conference provides attendees a supportive platform to present and exchange ideas while developing their scholarly identities in the field of language education.

I really enjoyed the hospitality, great organizing, and engaging keynote presentations at the conference.

The conference brings students together with the wider academic community, collaborating with neighbouring universities and featuring inspiring talks from leading TESOL experts. The heart of the event, however, is the student presentations, where participants share research-in-progress, explore practical strategies for language teaching, and gain insights from their postgraduate studies, all while connecting with peers and building professional networks.

The event offers attendees an enriching and valuable opportunity to deepen their engagement with TESOL scholarship and gain confidence as emerging researchers and practitioners.

Taking part in a conference was very special. It was nice to listen to our friends' ideas/opinions. Also, free lunch and coffee were so good.
