School of Education - Enrichment

This award-winning annual event, in collaboration with West Yorkshire Police,  provides a week for 16 secondary age children to learn about the resources and consequences brought into everyday life by knife crime. 

Our School of Education Students support the event by delivering icebreakers, offering presentation support, checking on learning outcomes and being mentors for the week.

There are then follow-up meetings with the children in the weeks after the event. The project has been used as a dissertation topics that can benefit Education/Community/Police.
