School of Education - Enrichment

Our International Students have been providing After School Clubs in local schools, teaching Mandarin, LEGO and even creating face masks, which has been extremely successful and has been a major achievement for our Student Futures & Opportunities Team. 

‘Through this experience, I was able to observe and experience firsthand the differences between the classroom cultures and educational philosophies of China and the UK. From classroom interactions to students’ autonomy and participation styles, these contrasts offered me valuable insights. They also helped me become more open-minded and adaptable, preparing me both emotionally and professionally for a future teaching career in a cross-cultural context.’
