Professor Pinar Akman recognised as one of the "world's most influential" antitrust academics
Professor Akman is a Professor of Law in the School of Law, and the Director of the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence on Digital Governance.

Global Competition Review, an international publication, recognised Professor Akman’s contributions to competition law (antitrust) in its inaugural edition of Antitrust Academics, profiling a “selection of the world’s most important antitrust academics”.
Professor Akman has also been shortlisted for a W@ 5 Star Professionals UK & Ireland award, in the ‘Shining Star’ category alongside other inspirational female competition specialists including fellow School of Law academic Dr Or Brook.
