Our research

The School of Law fosters and promotes research in all major fields of legal, socio-legal and criminological study on a local, national and international level. Our research is organised into four leading research centres, whose staff deliver teaching and supervision to our students at all levels. Our research explores important issues and fundamental challenges across law, criminology and criminal justice, influencing policy, improving professional practice, shaping intellectual debate or engaging with the public.
