The School of Education is delighted to share that Jo Callaghan and Judith Hebron have contributed a chapter to The Palgrave International Handbook of Multiple and Multi-Dimensional Educational and Life Transitions, edited by Professor Divya Jindal-Snape.
This research-based handbook, focusses on diverse educational and life transitions. The handbook has 30 chapters, all empirically and/or theoretically driven and rigorous. Jindal-Snape’s Multiple and Multidimensional Transitions (MMT) Theory runs as a thread through each chapter, providing examples of MMT Theory driven and underpinned research and practice.
Jo and Judith’s chapter reports upon part of Jo's PhD research and is titled: “Be your own shepherd, instead of following the other sheep” investigating the development of perceptions of reader identities over primary-secondary school transitions.
