Dr Elaine Lopez discusses pronoun acquisition in new video

Dr Elaine Lopez recently appeared in a video to consider the educational implications of research on the acquisition of pronouns in English.

Elaine discusses the topic with Professor Roumyana Slabakova of the University of Southampton, who is currently conducting research on this topic, and helps to draw out the significance of this research for language classrooms.

The video was made for the Meaning in Language Learning (MiLL) network. This network, funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council, provides a forum for multi-disciplinary dialogue among language learning experts, language teaching practitioners and other stakeholders in language learning.

Elaine will also be presenting alongside other MiLL members as part of the Education Session at the forthcoming Linguistics Association of Great Britain meeting, to be held in York in September 2016.
