Leeds student awarded commendation from the British Council

We are extremely proud to announce Jenson Deokiesingh, an alumnus of our MA TESOL programme, received a commendation award from the British Council for his master’s dissertation.

Jenson’s dissertation, ‘Invisible no more: shedding light on the prejudices that native English speaking Caribbean nationals face in the TESOL job market’, was shortlisted for the award for best potential impact on English language training.
