New Visiting Professor post for Dr James Simpson

Dr James Simpson has taken up a three-month post as Visiting Professor at the Centre for Applied Language Studies, University of Jyväskylä, Finland, where he will be until the end of September 2016.

While in Finland he will be working with Professor Sari Pöyhönen and team on a research funding bid for a project studying education for young adult refugees in the UK and in Finland. He will also be writing for publication with Finnish colleagues, and leading a seminar series based on the current AHRC Translation and Translanguaging project.
