House of Lords invites Dr Wragg to expert panel on Parliamentary privilege and Rule of Law

Dr Paul Wragg has been invited to an All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on the Rule of Law in the House of Lords to discuss the compatibility of parliamentary privilege with the Rule of Law.

The Group is co-chaired by the Rt Hon Dominic Grieve QC MP and Lord Pannick QC and the session on Wednesday 31st October will be attended by parliamentarians from both Houses as well as experts in the field. 

It has been established in light of Lord Hain’s decision, last week, to breach the terms of an interim injunction preventing publication of the claimant’s identity in ABC v Telegraph Group.
