Professor Pinar Akman presents her research in Germany
Professor Akman was an invited speaker at the School of Law, University of Wuerzburg where she presented her research on 29 June 2017.
The seminar took place at the Chair for Global Business Law, International Arbitration Law and Private Law led by Professor Florian Bien. Professor Akman presented her research on most-favoured-customer clauses adopted by online platforms and the treatment of these clauses under competition law. The seminar was based on Professor Akman’s recently published article ‘A Competition Law Assessment of Platform Most-Favored-Customer (MFC) Clauses’ (2016) 12(4) Journal of Competition Law and Economics 781.
