Henry Yeomans presents research findings at the Home Office
On 21 June, Henry gave an invited presentation of findings from his recent research project on the historical development of alcohol pricing interventions.
He reflected on how the history of alcohol pricing interventions, through price control statues and alcohol excise taxation, can help us make sense of current debates about whether a minimum unit price for alcoholic drinks should be introduced.
The presentation formed part of the History and Policy Seminar Series which is run by the Home Office under their ‘Learning From Experience’ programme.
