10th Graduation Ceremony for School's Partner University

The celebrations began on April 14th, with a one day colloquium, drawing speakers from all over China to consider Principles of Joint Educational Provision

The MA TESOL China programme offered jointly by the School of Education and the Faculty of English Language and Culture at Guangdong Foreign Studies University began in 2003.

Special celebrations were held this year to mark the successful graduation of the 10th cohort of MA TESOL students. The celebrations began on April 14th, with a one day colloquium, drawing speakers from all over China to consider Principles of Joint Educational Provision, and then on April 15th the Vice Chancellor, Sir Alan Langlands, together with Drs Martin Wedell, Richard Badger, and Judith Hanks attended the graduation ceremony.

Approximately 90 former students from different parts of China returned to meet their classmates and join the event. After the graduation ceremony in the morning all participants shared lunch and tea, finally meeting other Leeds alumni at an evening reception in Guangzhou.
