League table results for Education at the University of Leeds

The University league tables for 2025 have now been released, and the results reflect the hard work that’s been put in across the School of Education.

The continued dedication of our staff and students has been shown consistently in the results found in University League Tables for the 2024/2025 academic year.  

The School of Education was ranked 17th in the Good University Guide from The Times and Sunday Times 2025, scoring 95.1 out of a total possible 100. This represents an improvement of twenty places on last year’s position.  

The Complete University Guide places Education at Leeds in 18th. The School was awarded an overall score of 91.5 out of 100, moving up by nine places since last year. This rating places Education at the University of Leeds at number one amongst universities in Yorkshire and the Humber.  

The same Guide offers a separate ranking for Childhood and Youth Studies, for which Leeds ranks 1st in the UK.  

 

Ranking 37th in The Guardian’s best UK universities league table 2025 marks a massive leap upwards of thirty places above last year’s position, showing the consistent improvement throughout the School. 

This week, the Times Higher Education ranked the School at 101-125 in their worldwide rankings, representing 16th place amongst universities within the UK.
