17th Research Students’ Education Conference: Call for Papers

We are delighted to invite abstract submissions for the 17th Research Students’ Education Conference (RSEC), organised by postgraduate researchers in the School of Education.

The conference will be held in-person on 18 July 2024, providing a great opportunity for PGRs and Masters students to showcase their research and engage with peers and senior academics in a supportive and inclusive forum.

The theme for ‘17th Research Students’ Education Conference is ‘Global Research Journeys’. The conference aims to explore the research journeys of students, practitioners and researchers. We invite submissions that address but are not limited to the following sub-themes:

  1. Personal development and growth
  2. Transition and translation across cultures/languages/courses
  3. Cultural, geographic, and linguistic change and contact
  4. Knowledge journeys – challenging of assumptions and development of perspectives
  5. Collaboration and cross-cultural development and learning
  6. Methodological journeys and developments
  7. The implications of research for policy and practice

We encourage abstract submissions from PGRs and Masters students at all stages of their research, including those who are new to the postgraduate journey, and are interested in presentations including work-in-progress, completed work, co-authored work and poster presentations.

We also offer an opportunity to publish your research in Hillary Place Papers (HPP), the student-led journal of the School of Education.

Abstracts should not exceed 250 words and should be submitted by 12 noon on Monday 3 June 2024, via this Form: https://forms.office.com/e/d3M5iB8ETi. Successful applicants will be notified by 11 June 2024.
