School of Education celebrates Aurora Programme success

Congratulations to three of our School of Education colleagues who are accepted on to the Aurora programme.

Aurora is a women-only leadership development scheme, designed and facilitated by Advance HE for colleagues at or above lecturer level, or Grade Seven for technicians and those in professional services. Delegates will explore several leadership themes and skills through a mix of sessions involving guest speakers, mentoring, self-directed study, and more.

The University of Leeds has been an active member of the Aurora Programme from the beginning, supporting over 180 participants in their leadership career trajectory.  Potential participants are recognised and nominated through their faculty/professional services area. There are limited places available, and applications are reviewed by a University-Wide panel before places on the scheme are awarded.

This year the School of Education is delighted to have all three of their nominated members of staff accepted onto the programme, being Dr Diana Mazgutova and Dr Yen Dang, together with Gaynor Butterwick representing Professional Staff.

Congratulations to you all.
