School of Education delighted to host 9th ERME Topic Conference
The 9th Topic Conference of the European Society for Research in Mathematics Education (ERME) will be hosted by Centre for Curriculum, Pedagogy and Policy.
The theme of ‘Perspectives on conceptual understanding of flexibility and number sense in arithmetic’ will be the focus of the conference.
The conference will take place online across two days, starting with a New Researchers’ Day on Tuesday 11 May, followed by the Main Conference Day on Wednesday 12 May. The main conference day will include plenary sessions led by two distinguished experts in mathematics education: Professor Paul Andrews from the University of Stockholm, Sweden, and Professor Elisabeth Rathgeb-Schnierer, from the University of Kassel, Germany.
