Professor Jason Ralph presents paper at an International Workshop

Professor Jason Ralph presented his research at an an international workshop at the University of Erfurt.

Professor of International Relations, Professor Jason Ralph, has presented his research at an international workshop hosted at the University of Erfurt, Germany. Professor Ralph’s paper, ‘The place of practice in Pragmatist thought and its role as a critical resource for assessing global governance’, was presented at the workshop, The Practice Turn in International Relations and Its Critics (29-31 March, 2023).

The workshop was co-organised by Professor Frank Gadinger and Oliver Kessler, while a follow-up workshop is planned for the European International Studies Association meeting in Potsdam, Germany in September 2023.

Professor Ralph’s paper built on and developed the work he has recently published with Cambridge University Press in his book, On Global Learning: Pragmatic Constructivism, International Practices and the Challenge of Global Governance (in press). A pre-publication version is currently also available.
