The BA Social Science (Foundation Year) course is designed for those who don’t have the standard entry requirements.The open day will give you opportunity to chat to the Programme Leader, Programme Director, current students, Student Experience Manager, admissions staff and academics.

This will be a short subject specific presentation covering a number of core elements of Social Sciences.

General talk

Our general talk will give you an insight into what you can expect to study on the BA Social Science programme and as a student at Leeds. Hear about our current students’ experiences, discover more about living in Leeds and find out how you can enhance your degree at our work placement, study abroad and volunteering talk.

Tours

Take a tour of our award winning students’ union and The Edge, our state of the art sport and fitness facility, plus our impressive Laidlaw Library which opened in summer 2015.

Location

If you enter the Social Sciences Building (No 82 on the campus map) at the main entrance on level 10, take the lift or stairs up two floors to floor 12. We can be found in rooms 12.21 & 12.25.
