Top 50 in the world for Development Studies

Leeds has been ranked 37th in the world for Development Studies in the 2020 QS World University Rankings.

We are delighted to see that these rankings show Development Studies at Leeds once again positioned firmly in the top 50 of the best universities for this important and wide-reaching area.

This recognition reflects the excellence, hard work and accomplishments of our community of staff and students and we thank everyone that has contributed to the continuation of this achievement.

Development Studies is a key interdisciplinary strength for the School of Politics and International Studies as well as the Faculty of Social Sciences and the University more broadly. We are excited to continue working together on this forward looking topic as part of our teaching and research.
