New issue of PGR-led journal released

The Leeds Student Law and Criminal Justice Review (LSLCJR), a PGR-led publication, showcases the outstanding work produced by the students at the University of Leeds School of Law.

The LSLCJR is committed to highlighting a diverse range of legal subjects, reflecting the extensive curriculum and pioneering research conducted within the School of Law.

The journal encompasses articles that span various legal disciplines, demonstrating the rich diversity within the School’s Research Centres, including Business Law and Practice, Criminal Justice Studies, and Law and Social Justice. This variety ensures that the LSLCJR remains at the forefront of current legal scholarship, engaging with contemporary issues and fostering academic development.

At its core, the LSLCJR seeks to emphasize the significance of academic studies and the vital role of disseminating research findings. By contributing to the broader legal discourse, the publication aims to influence and inspire both the academic community and the practice of law.

It has been an honour to serve as the Managing Editor of this year’s issue. This role represents the culmination of my history with the Leeds Student Law and Criminal Justice Review (LSLCJR) which started back in 2020 when my undergraduate dissertation was one of the papers published in LSLCJR’s inaugural issue and continued with my role as member of the 2022-23 Editorial Board.
