Dr Eike Rinke wins award at Berlin conference

The prize was awarded for the best submission to the 2023 ECREA Political Communication Section Conference at the Weizenbaum Institute in Berlin.

Co-director of the Centre for Democratic Politics, Dr Eike Rinke and his co-author Professor Patricia Moy (University of Washington) won the award for their submission, ‘Political Correlates of Interpersonal Listening Styles’, by the European Communication Research and Education Association at the conference in September 2023.

Selection was based on blind peer-review ratings of abstract submissions. Dr Rinke and Professor Moy’s submission was rated best out of around one hundred and fifty submissions to the conference.
