Success for the School of Law in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026
The School of Law places 69th, reflecting its world-class reputation for Law and Legal Studies.
The School is delighted to have been recognised in this year’s QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026 for Law and Legal Studies.
The QS World University Rankings by Subject ranks the world’s top universities in individual subject areas, covering 55 disciplines. Courses are ranked according to five indicators, including academic reputation, employer reputation and research excellence.
In this year’s edition the School of Law has been placed 69th in the world, and 11th in the UK. The results complement the excellent results in many other subjects across the University.

The results reflect the School of Law’s ongoing performance in the international league tables, including its position of 88th in the world for Law in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings by Subject 2026, and its position of 18th in the UK for Law in the Complete University Guide 2026 Subject League Table.
