Migration Journeys

As part of Refugee Week 2025 (16–22 June), the Centre for Law and Social Justice warmly invites you to a special day of learning, sharing, and solidarity.

As part of Refugee Week (16-22 June 2025), the Centre for Law and Social Justice warmly invites you to join us for a day of learning and sharing under the theme of solidarity. We will hear testimonies from asylum seekers who participate in the Horsforth public speaking programme, a ‘course on telling our stories plus support to take opportunities to speak’. The day will include interactive conversations on issues of relevance to displaced people, together with a photography exhibition, discussions on research projects, updates on law and policy, a lived experiences panel, poetry readings, a networking lunch, and more. The event is free, but booking is essential.
