Call for Papers: 5th Conference on Financial Law and Regulation

The organisers, Virág Blazsek (Leeds), Federico Lupo-Pasini (Durham), Andreas Kokkinis (Birmingham), Clara Martins Pereira (Durham), and Ilias Kapsis (City St. George’s) invite submissions of paper abstracts for the 5th Conference on Financial Law and Regulation hosted by the Centre for Business Law and Practice at the University of Leeds School of Law on 24-25 June 2026.

Previous conferences in this series were hosted by University College London, the London School of Economics, Durham Law School, and City St George’s, University of London.

This year’s conference will feature established scholars, policymakers, regulators as well as early career scholars and practitioners in banking and financial services law. The conference will be in person and participation will be free of charge, but delegates will be expected to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses. Meals and refreshments will be provided.

They invite abstract submissions (maximum 300 words) for papers in the following fields:

  • Financial Regulation and Financial Stability
  • International Financial Law and Public Finances
  • Corporate Finance
  • Financial Services and Technology
  • Anti-Money Laundering
  • Sustainable and Ethical Finance, Financial Literacy
  • Financial services litigation and consumer protection

The authors whose papers have been accepted will be notified by 30 April 2026.
