School of Law welcomes Professor Shuangge Wen from Jilin University
The School of Law hosted Professor Shuangge Wen, Deputy Dean of Jilin University’s Faculty of Law, strengthening academic ties and exploring collaborative opportunities.
The School of Law was delighted to welcome Professor Shuangge Wen, Deputy Dean of the School of Law at Jilin University, during her visit on 4-5 December 2024 to the Liberty Building.
During her time at Leeds, Professor Wen met with key members of the School, including Professor Ilias Trispiotis, Deputy Head of the School of Law at the University of Leeds, and Dr Qi (George) Zhou, Co-Director of Internationalisation at the School of Law, to discuss potential collaborations in research and student education.
“This visit builds on the foundation established by the university-level memorandum of understanding signed between Jilin University and the University of Leeds in 2019. The agreement has facilitated closer ties between the two institutions, laying the groundwork for meaningful partnerships,” said Dr Zhou.
Professor Wen’s visit marks an important step in advancing academic cooperation and strengthening the relationship between the School of Law at Leeds and the School of Law at Jilin University.
