Join us for the launch of the Earning + Learning campaign - helping young people in education learn about their rights at work!
Most young people undertake paid work during their studies but student workers are among the most exploited groups in the workplace. This new national campaign – co-produced with young people - seeks to raise awareness of students’ employment rights and protections, and deliver real change for student workers.
At the event you’ll hear from the young people, organisations and researchers behind the Earning + Learning campaign, and get a first look at the campaign website and resources.
Speakers include:
- Representatives from the Expert Advisory Board of young people behind the campaign
- Vic Jones, Head of Equality at The Trades Union Congress (TUC)
- Kate Nightingale, Director of Communications, Campaigns and Research at Young Women’s Trust (YWT)
- Dr Lilith Brouwers and Professor Kim Allen from the University of Leeds
