Research interests
I am particularly interested in digital technology in higher education, including the impact on teaching and learning, unbundling, and the acquisition of digital skills. I use blended learning approaches in my teaching and I was an educator on the FutureLearn Blended Learning Essentials suite of MOOCs. I am currently researching in the area of learning analytics and how such data might be used to learn more about teaching and learning, but also the challenges associated with learning analytics.
I recently worked on the ESRC-funded research project 'The Unbundled University: Researching emerging models in an unequal landscape' on which I was a co-Investigator.
