Profile

I am a lecturer at the University of Hafr Al-Batin in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a faculty member specialising in Early Childhood Education. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from King Faisal University and completed my postgraduate studies at the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom, where I obtained a master’s degree in Education.

Throughout my academic career, I have taught a variety of undergraduate modules in early childhood education and supervised both student teachers and graduation projects. In these roles, I have worked closely with students to support their academic and professional development, helping them strengthen their teaching skills and build confidence in classroom practice. I have also contributed to departmental activities through a range of academic and administrative roles, aiming to enhance teaching quality and promote an engaging and supportive learning environment.

My master’s research marked the beginning of my current academic interests. It explored female students’ perspectives on using tablet devices (iPads) for educational purposes in schools and offered valuable insights into how technology shapes students’ learning experiences and attitudes towards education. Since then, my research has focused on advancing educational practices in early childhood settings, with a particular interest in integrating educational technology into learning environments and exploring teachers’ expectations and beliefs regarding children’s use of technology in the classroom.
