On Thursday 27 November, Syafiq and Ouhao conducted two British Academy writing workshops alongside the NCDC’s early career researchers on the literature review and curriculum design.

The feedback received from these workshops was very positive, and the topic on climate change, design-based, and students’ co-designed curriculum methods received extensive, productive, discussion from the curriculum experts working with the NCDC.

Everyone has appreciated your workshops.

Between 28–30 November, Syafiq and Ouhao visited one of the local indigenous tribes, Batwa in Uganda, and the mountain gorillas which are native to this area. This visit allowed for them to understand the interactions shared between these two groups. They also visited two local schools to understand their curriculums and how they view indigenous knowledge.
