Professor Pecorari delivered her lecture, ‘Plagiarism: Educational disorder or symptom?’, to a theatre of colleagues, postgraduate researchers, and students.
As well as reflecting on her illustrious research career, the lecture considered whether we might reconsider society and universities’ branding of plagiarism as an “educational disease” through exploration of three prominent examples of plagiaism in US political life of the 20th and 21st centuries.
