PhD student Keya Khandaker invited to write for for E-International Relations

Keya Khandaker, School of Politics and International Studies PhD student, was invited to write an opinion piece for E-International Relations.

The article entitled ‘The Hypocrisy of the UK Government’s Plans for Girl’s Education in the Global South’ is an interrogation of the UK Government's recent strategy in pursuit of girl's education around the world, which is based on neoliberal framings of girlhood in the Global South. To further this argument, the article explores the recent significant reduction in the UK's aid expenditure and its implications.

Keya has also co-authored a blog article with Dr Lata Narayanaswamy as part of a series entitled ‘Debating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)’ for the Ghent Centre for Global Studies.
