Plan, Do, Review is a targeted whole class approach which aims to increase the language and communication skills of children in early years settings through enhancing speaking and listening skills. The approach aims to provide practitioners with the skills and knowledge to support children in developing collaborative conversations through modelling positive strategies and encouraging children to talk to one another using these strategies. The pilot study aims to evaluate, over 18 settings (7 school-based, 5 Private, Voluntary and Independent, 6 Maintained) the feasibility of implementation, evidence of promise and readiness for trial of the approach through a mix methods design.
Project aims
The pilot study aims to investigate the Plan, Do, Review approach for evidence of promise, feasability of implementation and readiness for trial through a mixed methods implementation process evaluation design.
