Dr. Ci Ren

Profile

My research examines emerging issues in international financial law, banking law, corporate law and and Fintech regulation, with a focus on English law, US law, and Asian law. My work addresses key developments in the modern commercial landscape, such as directors’ duties, capital market regulation, and financial safety nets. I have over ten papers being published in leading law journals in the UK, US and Asia. These studies have contributed meaningfully to debates on corporate governance and financial innovation, and have led to invitations to write for prominent academic platforms such as Oxford Business law Blog, Columbia Law School’s Blog on the Corporate law and Capital Markets CLS Blue Sky Blog), Duke University’s FinReg Blog etc.

Before joining Leeds, I taught at King’s College London and Queen Mary University of London.
