The meeting was chaired by Omar Khan, director of the Runnymede Trust, and a member of the Commission, and involve representation from the Home Office Race Disparity Unit, IPPR, Hope Not Hate, and the Institute of Race Relations.

The Leeds team in attendance included Zinovijus Ciupijus (Leeds University Business School) and Andrew Wallace (School of Sociology and Social Policy), who were also joined by two representatives of the Commission, Nadeem Murtuja, Director of JUST Yorkshire, and Paul Hayes, Senior Policy Office at Wakefield City Council.
