Peer-to-Peer Coaching is a programme delivered by CoachBright with an aim to enhance pupils maths skills including maths self efficacy and cognition. The programme will allign struggling year 7 pupils with year 10 pupils who are high attainers in maths. Year 10 pupils then coach year 7 pupils for a period of 10 weeks in areas they have identified as finding most difficult.
Project aims
The aim of the evaluation research is to understand whether the Peer-to-Peer coaching programme enhances the maths abilities of year 7 pupils including maths self-efficacy and cognition. The aim of the implementation process evaluation is to measure the implementation fidelity of the programme within schools and also understand barriers and facilitators of implementation.
