Apply now for the CGD Summer School: 'Understanding Development: Interdisciplinary Perspectives'

If you want to change the world you need to understand it – a fact particularly important in the field of International Development.

That is why the Centre for Global Development has decided to run its 2014 summer school with the theme, ‘Understanding Development: Interdisciplinary Perspectives’.

The four day summer school will cover key development themes from a variety of disciplinary perspectives and discuss how different analytics lenses shape our way of interpreting ‘the problem’ and ‘the solution’ to different development issues. Participants will also take part in small-size interactive lectures and workshops in order to develop skills in critical thinking and analysis, research, group work, and communication.

Applications are now open to all individuals who are interested in development, thinking about a career in development, or who are thinking about a career change towards a field in international development.
