Prof Edward Newman to work with Danish Police in violent extremism study

The project is intended to compare and analyse the policing and prevention of radicalisation and violent extremism in both the UK and Denmark.

A three year project funded by ESRC intends to compare and analyse the policing and prevention of radicalisation and violent extremism in both the UK and Denmark.

Prof Edward Newman and Dr Clifford Stott, from the School of Politics and International Studies (POLIS) and School of Law respectively will be working on the study with the West Yorkshire Police and Police in Denmark. The project is being led by University of Leeds research student Neda Nobari Nozari.
