How the Petitions Committee ensures your voice is heard

Cristina Leston-Bandeira has recently written a blog post for the Constitution Unit about the Petitions Committee and their role in ensuring petitions receive a relevant response.

In the post Cristina highlights the dramatic rise in the number of petitions submitted to parliament over the past year, thanks to the new collaborative e-petitions site.

Cristina continues by writing about the achievements of the committee over the past year, and specifically the way in which it has engaged with other parliamentary activities.
