Dr Honeyman comments on US Presidential Debates on BBC Radio

The day after the final US presidential debate Dr Victoria Honeyman was asked to comment by BBC Radio York on the candidates and format of the US debates.

She discusses whether the American electorate are more interested in theatre or politics. She was also asked why Trump and Clinton appear to not be the first choice to represent either party.

She finally discusses the polls and the Trump campaign’s persistence that the election is rigged and the impact and consequences of this on democracy.
