Climate diplomacy article by Head of School published by Open Access Government

Head of the School of Politics and International Studies, Professor Richard Beardsworth, has written on Climate Diplomacy and the European Union for Open Access Government.

Professor Beardsworth’s article, ‘Climate Diplomacy and EU Example’ considers how, for lack of a proper global governance mechanism, climate diplomacy is diplomacy by example. This applies both domestically and internationally. 

Professor Beardsworth’s paper explores the inconsistencies in EU climate diplomacy (as a “climate leader”) at a critical juncture in both international negotiations and geopolitics.
