Professor Olaf Corry's Open Access article published in Global Policy
A new Open Access article by Professor Olaf Corry, co-authored with Professor Duncan McLaren (Lancaster University), has been published in Global Policy.
The article is entitled “Clash of Geofutures and the Remaking of Planetary Order. Faultlines underlying Conflicts over Geoengineering Governance”.
Professor Corry, Professor of Global Security Challenges, explains “we explore underlying reasons why the first UN resolutions on governance of geoengineering in 2019 ended in failure. Differing interests in (not) regulating geoengineering are compounded by clashing views of what reliable knowledge is, how future risks should be assessed and acted upon and how global decisions should be made.”
