Postgraduate researcher Declan wins prestigious article competition
One of our postgraduate researchers, Declan Sean Kenny, has won a prestigious competition run by the White Rose Brussels Office.
Declan was selected as the winner of the White Rose Brussels’ article competition with his piece, 'Getting tough: resolving the double standard before it is too late'.
Declan says: "At a point when the US is absolving itself of responsibility, most notably by exiting the Paris Climate Agreement, it is vital that the EU leads the charge in being tough on big business. Not only is failing to do so detrimental, but also undermines other community-wide climate change action throughout The Union."
It has been published as a blog on the website and Declan was given the opportunity to share his research at the White Rose Brussels' Climate Change event held last week.
