Profile
I joined the University of Leeds as PhD Candidate in October 2022 after completing my LLM degree in International Human Rights Law in 2021 (Distinction).
I hold a degree in Law from the University of Milan-Bicocca (first-class honours). From 2012 to 2018 I worked as a qualified lawyer for top Law Firms in Milan.
Since 2022, I have been serving as a formal observer at the Conference of the Parties under the UNFCCC, and since 2024, I have been serving as a gender policy advisor for the Women7 at the G7 Summit.
I am also actively involved in the work of NGOs and working groups on climate mobility and the intersection between climate change and human rights at an international level.
Research interests
My research interests span International Human Rights Law, Refugee Law, Environmental Law, Climate Law and European Union Law, as well as Climate Justice.
