Dr Henry Yeomans presents research findings at major event on taxation
Dr Henry Yeomans presented findings from his research on alcohol taxation to an audience including government ministers, civil servants, leading academics and representatives from a range of charities or campaign groups.
The paper was titled ‘Alcohol Taxation, Minimum Unit Pricing and the Regulation of Drinking: A Historical Perspective on Alcohol Pricing Interventions’ and was given at the conference ‘Taxation and other economic incentives as health-promoting tools: a focus on tobacco, alcohol and unhealthy diets’ hosted at the University of Liverpool's London campus on Tuesday 17th January.
