Leeds Law students advise charity

Law student, Loren Martin from the University of Leeds was amongst those delivering the first in a series of free legal education sessions for local charities.

Law students from the area are taking part in the collaborative project, uniting local law firms and law schools. The project called StreetLeeds has launched in response to the demand for legal knowledge from organisations within the voluntary sector in the region.

The students kicked off the pilot scheme with support from professionals at law firm Simpson Millar, giving a presentation at immigration charity, Meeting Point.
