The Guardian University League Table ranks Law as top 10 and Criminology top 5 in UK
The Guardian University League Tables 2019 have been announced. We are pleased to share the news that we have been ranked in the top 10 for law and top 5 for criminology.
The Guardian University Guide is different from other guides and does not focus on research scores. Instead, it focuses primarily on the student experience and considers measures that include course satisfaction, teaching and feedback, and post-graduation employment rates.
The tables have been compiled for the Guardian by Intelligent Metrix, an independent consultancy that specialises in measuring performance in higher education. The rankings are based on official data collected by the Higher Education Statistics Agency (Hesa) and on the National Student Survey, published by Hefce.
In the 2017 National Student Survey (NSS) the School received an overall course satisfaction score of 95% from our students so it is pleasing to see this reflected in the Guardian results released today.
