Professor Hilary Sommerlad invited to join Editorial Board of Law and Social Inquiry
Law and Social Inquiry is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes work on sociolegal issues across multiple disciplines, including criminology, economics, history, law, political science and sociology.
The School of Law’s Chair in Law and Social Justice Professor Hilary Sommerlad has been invited to join the Editorial Board of Law and Social Inquiry (LSI) for a three-year term from January 2023 to December 2025.
Law and Social Inquiry is among the highest-ranked scholarly journals in the field of sociolegal studies and publishes the work of leading scholars from around the world.
LSI is published four times a year by the American Bar Foundation and Cambridge University Press, and is among the highest-ranked scholarly journals in the field of sociolegal studies. LSI publishes the work of leading scholars from around the world. In addition to individual articles, LSI regularly features symposia on new developments in sociolegal scholarship.
Professor Sommerlad is co-founder of the new Legal Professions Research Group (LPRG). The LPRG based in the Centre for Innovation in Learning and Education and the Group will focus on the role of lawyers and other legal services professionals in a rapidly changing world, and the challenges and opportunities they face.
