Dr Hendry shortlisted for Socio-Legal Studies Article Prize 2022

We are delighted to announce that Dr Jennifer Hendry's British Journal of Criminology (BJC) article has been shortlisted for the Socio-Legal Studies Article Prize 2022.

Dr Hendry's shortlisted article is entitled, ''The Usual Suspects': Knife Crime Prevention Orders and the 'Difficult' Regulatory Subject'.

This paper was also the topic of Dr Hendry’s keynote lecture at the launch of 23ES Chambers’ academic panel in October 2021. The work was funded by the AHRC through Dr Hendry’s Leadership Fellowship award 2019-21.

The winner will be announced at the Socio-Legal Studies Article (SLSA) annual conference in York, April 2022.
